My Story
Dr. Shameka Harris is a dynamic and compassionate leader dedicated to empowering
individuals and strengthening communities. With a Ph.D. in Philosophy, she combines academic
rigor with a deep commitment to service, bringing a unique perspective to her work as a
community advocate, life coach, counselor, and HR professional.
Dr. Harris is the founder of A Beautiful Rebuild Inc., a non-profit organization that serves
military men and women by providing resources, support, and guidance to help them navigate
life’s challenges during and after their service. Through her organization, she addresses the
physical, emotional, and social needs of military personnel, fostering resilience and renewal in
their lives.
In addition to her work with military families, Dr. Harris is a passionate life coach and
counselor. She works with individuals from diverse backgrounds, offering transformative
coaching and counseling sessions that inspire growth, healing, and purpose. Her empathetic
approach empowers clients to overcome obstacles, develop self-awareness, and achieve their
personal and professional goals.
As a professional in Human Resources, Dr. Harris excels in talent management,

Dr. Harris is also the author of Rebuild, a book that offers insights on personal growth,
